A quick little update.
The Invasives record, "Desk Job at Castle Dracula" is finished and pressed. I got my hands on the unlabelled test pressing a couple months ago, but now I have a copy of the finished album on beautiful white vinyl. It's in stores now. You can pick it up on iTunes, or hit up your local record store and get the real thing with a handy-dandy download code. The album release show is Friday, May 28 at the Media Club. Highly recommended.
A busy end of the year.
The Invasives record is almost finished. Just finished mixing with Paul Forgues and Blair Calibaba. Next, mastering....
The Noise Control recording which I mixed is now out. Visit their website where you can download it for a donation.
Last month I mixed a few tracks for country singer, Megan Neit. Great songs.
Another country artist, Lynne Taylor Donovan, was in my studio. I recorded her vocals for her new Christmas song. She has a hell of a voice and is a tonne of fun in the studio.
At the beginning of the month, I did a location recording at Ryerson United Church for the soundtrack to a short film currently in production. A string quartet, an opera singer and amazing acoustics adds up to one great recording.

I’m currently in the studio with Vancouver based band, Invasives, recording their 4th album. It kicks ass. Expect to have your ears thank you in late 2009 or early 2010.
